Labours

Painted on linen tea towels, Labours record the raw materiality of labour, love and time spent in the home. They also play with perspectives that look in and out. These works consider the confines of domestic space through their inherent framework, by way of the woven bands of colour running down each long length but also through their function… washing, drying, splashing, crying.
